DOCTOR OF PHARMACY PROGRAM
The pass rate for first time takers of the NAPLEX exam for the time window May 1 through August 31, 2007 was 100%.
We had 41 graduates take the exam, 8,930 took the exam nationally. Our Pass Rate was 100% (State pass rate: 85.8%, national pass rate 94%). Impressively we had 2 students that were above the 99th percentile, 13 were above the 87th percentile. Our median score was at about the 75th percentile nationally.
Congratulations to our 2007 graduates!!!
MORTUARY SCIENCE
The pass rate for graduates from the Anatomic Pathologists Assistant Program on the ASCP APA Certification Examination was 100%.
The annual passage rate of first-time takers on the National Board Examination (NBE) was 83% in 2005. The national average during this time was 69%. The annual passage rate of first-time takers on the National Board Examination (NBE) for the most recent three-year period for this institution and all ABFSE (American Board of Funeral Service Education) accredited funeral service education programs is posted on the ABFSE web site, www.abfse.org.
Congratulations to the graduates from the programs in Mortuary Science!
PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT STUDIES
In 2005 we had 46 graduates of the Physician Assitant Studies Program take the NCCPA board examination and 43 (93.5%) passed on the first attempt. The students who were not successful on the first attempt passed the examination on the second attempt. Congratulations to the graduates of our Physicain Assistant Studies Program!
PHARMACY
We had 36 May, 2005 Doctor of Pharmacy graduates take the NAPLEX exam and 97% of these passed. Impressively we had 9 students (25% of the May graduates who took the exam) performed above the 95th percentile and we had one student who was in the 100th percentile with a scaled score of 142 (maximum score is 150, there were 55 students of the 6,614 candidates with scores above 141).
A total of 41 graduates of Wayne State University took the NAPLEX exam during the period 5/1/05 through 8/31/05. The overall pass rate was 87.80% compared to the state pass rate of 70.01% and national pass rate of 89.15.
Congrats to our May graduates!!!
PHYSICAL THERAPY
The pass rate for graduates of the Physical Therapy program on the NPTE Licensure examination was 100% of the 82 graduates that took the exam during the years 2001 – 2003 (most recent data available).
PHARMACY
The pass rate for graduates of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program for the 2004 calendar year was 94.4% of 90 graduates that took the NAPLEX examination.
